On Wednesday 19 April, Dryad Networks was announced as the winner of the 6th Innovation World Cup at Hannover Messe, the world's leading fair in industrial transformation.
The event saw some of Europe's most exciting startups pitch to an expert panel in categories ranging from Energy, Mobility, Security and Lifestyle for prizes totalling more than $500.000.
In the EBV Innovation Hero award, Dryad saw off competition from:
ClearVUE.Business, a UK-based startup offering energy solutions to lower emissions and energy costs
Orioma, a startup from France focussing on energy-autonomous low-consumption imagers and wide-field cameras
Perinet GmbH, a German startup providing industrial IoT systems for secure communications in different use-case scenarios
Dryad was announced as the winner by the jury based on its level of innovativeness, commercial potential, go-to-market approach and sustainability.
Carsten Brinkschulte, Dryad Networks CEO and Co-founder:

As we enter the US wildfire season and with the European one around the corner, it's vital that we build on these successes and continue to ramp up the production and deployment of our products to protect vital ecosystems and fight climate change."
The Innovation World Cup is the world's leading open innovation platform that supports breakthrough innovations to become a reality and connects startups and entrepreneurs with international tech corporations.
Karl Lehnhoff, Director Segment Industrial, Scientific & Medical, EBV Elektronik:
