Product Designer (Digital)

Berlin

Product Designer (Digital) – 2/4 years’ experience

The world’s forests are burning. If current trends continue, up to 170 million hectares could be lost by 2030. Forests are one of Earth’s largest carbon sinks, absorbing over 110 billion metric tons of CO₂. Protecting them is critical to mitigating climate change.

At Dryad, we are building an AI enabled ultra-early wildfire IOT detection system. Based in Berlin & Brandenburg, our mission is to deploy a large-scale sensor network and monitoring platform that enables public and private forest owners to detect fires early and protect remote ecosystems at scale.

To support this mission, we are looking for a Product Designer (2–4 years’ experience) to join our team in Berlin and work closely with the Head of Product & Design.

You will join a growing team in a fast-moving startup environment. We are looking for someone hands-on, proactive and comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a strong passion for craft and high-quality execution.

Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype cross-platform (desktop & mobile) digital experiences supporting the planning, deployment and monitoring of wildfire detection systems worldwide.

  • Contribute to user research and independently plan and run rapid usability tests (protocol definition, facilitation, synthesis and design iteration).

  • Deliver technically thoughtful UX/UI solutions for complex, data-rich B2B tools used in operational environments.

  • Contribute to maintain and evolve a coherent design system with consistent, high-quality UI components and visual assets.

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Design, Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Sales to frame the right problems and deliver meaningful outcomes.

  • Support the Head of Design and CTO in shaping the long-term product vision.

Required skills, knowledge and experience

  • You are a Product Designer with 2–4 years of relevant professional experience and a formal design education (Bachelor’s or Master’s), preferably in UX/UI or service design.

  • Strong execution skills in UX and UI, with a clear passion for product craft and interaction quality.

  • Comfortable working on complex systems and technical, engineering-driven products beyond standard consumer flows.

  • Experience designing B2B tools with advanced data visualization or operational dashboards for desktop and mobile use.

  • Experience working on IoT products combining hardware and software is a strong plus.

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong analytical thinking, the ability to simplify complexity, and refined visual sensibility.

  • Proficiency in standard design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Adobe CC and Miro.

  • Experience in integrating AI tools into your workflow where it matters (vibe coding prototypes, Gpt builder,..).

  • High attention to detail. As proof that you have carefully read this description, please include the words “ρine tгees” somewhere in your application.

  • Based in Berlin and authorized to work in Germany.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

We offer

  • Salary range: €50,000–55,000 per year depending on experience + Phantom Shares.
