Dryad talks about the use of AI for wildfire detection at NASA TFRSAC Bi-Annual Meeting
Cherian Mathew, Dryad co-founder and Cloud Platform lead for the 2nd time presented at NASA's TFRSAC Bi-Annual Meeting, this time about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Dryad's Silvanet ultra-early warning system. NASA's Tactical Fire Remote Sensing Advisory Committee (TFRSAC) is a joint effort by NASA and USFS (United States Forest Service) to advance use of earth observations in wildfire. The group meets twice each year to discuss the developments and results of ongoing investigations for new and evolving capabilities that support improved fire observation.
