SILVANET WILDFIRE SENSOR

Speed is everything when it comes to wildfire alerts. Learn more about how Dryad's solar-powered forest fire detection sensors can detect wildfires in minutes.

The Silvanet Wildfire Sensor is designed to detect forest fires within minutes, often during their early smoldering phase, greatly reducing the risk of them spreading out of control. It also monitors the forest’s microclimate, measuring temperature, humidity and air pressure. The sensor combines ultra-low-power air quality sensing with a precise gas sensing mode.

It detects Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide and other gases at the ppm level and comes with built-in artificial intelligence to reliably detect a fire and avoid false positives.

Our solar-powered wildfire sensors use LoRaWAN for wireless data transmission and can run maintenance-free for up to 15 years without the need for batteries, avoiding the use of lithium and other toxic materials.

ULTRA-EARLY WILDFIRE DETECTION

FOREST HEALTH & GROWTH MONITORING

  • Dramatically cuts firefighting

  • Prevents economical damage

  • Reduces risk and insurance

  • Saves human life and wildlife

  • Reliable, repeatable data collection

  • More effective forest planning

  • Prevent diseases and fight droughts

  • Optimize tree growth and ROI

SPEED MATTERS

When it comes to wildfires, time is of the essence. Our wildfire detection sensors provide ultra-early fire detection, sensing carbon monoxide, hydrogen and other gases emitted by pyrolysis in the early stages of a wildfire, giving fire fighters valuable time to react and preventing ruinous megafires which are devastating to the environment.
