At Dryad, sustainability is a key principle guiding our corporate goals and commitments. We want to help protecting and restoring our vital ecosystems while at the same time minimize our own environmental impact.
Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The concept of sustainability is composed of three pillars: economic, environmental, and social—also known informally as profits, planet, and people.
Our mission is to reduce reaction time for forest fires, to monitor the vitality and growth of the forest and other vital ecosystems, helping to protect and restore our vital natural resources. However, we also need to review our own production process, supply chain and operations to minimize the environmental impact of our products.
We are committed to optimize our products, processes, supply chain and operations from a green perspective. For starters, our sensors and gateways operate entirely on solar power, removing the need for lithium-ion batteries used in most IOT devices. We select our suppliers and review our operations using green criteria to minimize our own environmental footprint.
We are committed to review our entire process from designing the products over delivery and eventual recycling to with the goals to optimize all aspects for minimizing our environmental impact.
Dryad is committed to sustainable development goals (SDG) and aims to review and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
